This winter, Dolce World is doing it again! For the first time hospitality professionals and gastronomes will be gathering for the Dolce Curling Trophy 2017. Following our successful Dolce Petanque Trophy event, we are donning our winter coats in a fairylike wintery landscape in the smallest city in the world. Hotel Sanglier Des Ardennes in Durbuy will be our stage on Tuesday 12 December for a day of culinary enjoyment on and off the ice. The programme of our Dolce Curling Trophy will be a guarantee for quality, inspiration, conviviality and experience!

What is it?

A fun networking event for hospitality professionals and foodies with a sporty and culinary touch. In Durbuy – all decked out for the Christmas season – the participants will be initiated into curling, a versatile winter sport which speaks to the imagination. The games will be alternated with culinary enjoyment in true hunter’s style. Chef Wout Bru and the team of Sanglier des Ardennes will provide a unique gastronomic touch to an enchanting wintery day full of fun.

 

Who will attend?

Hospitality professionals and gastronomes who love conviviality. Godfather of our first edition is no one other than Wout Bru, enfant terrible of the Belgian gastronomy, founder of the renowned pop-up, welcome guest at numerous parties, but most of all a creative top-class chef bursting with energy.

 

What will the day look like?

The event will take place inside and around the Hotel Sanglier Des Ardennes, Rue Comte d'Ursel, 14 - 6940 Durbuy.

 

-From 9.30am: reception with hunter’s breakfast and champagne, opened with a saber.

 

-10.30am: introduction to curling and announcement of the teams.

 

-11am: winter aperitive

 

-1pm-2.30pm: ‘casse-croûte’ in hunter style, cosy dining and sharing. Wout Bru will use products from the Dolce partners to create unique gastronomic experiences.

 

-2.30pm: start Curling Final Ends.

 

-4pm: Sweet and savoury snacks.

 

-5-7pm: Award ceremony with amicable reception and various snacks.

 

Price    

€95: hospitality professionals, Dolce club members, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs members.

 

€125: non-hospitality participant.

 

The price includes the curling game and all the drinks and snacks until 7pm.

 

 

Accommodation

There are many hotels in Durbuy where you can book to stay the night, as well as the charming Hotel Sanglier des Ardennes.
