A taste of Belgium taps into the big apole with the opening of Belgian beer café Nomad.

The authentic bar and restaurant will boast a large variety of old world and up-coming craft Belgian beers, both ond draft and in bottles, as well as an extensive menu of Belgian-inspired cuisine, spearheaded by Michael Sullivan, a 10-year alum of critically acclaimed Chanterelle, with recent tenures at Lower East Side hot spot Veselka and seafood gem Flex Mussels.
At the approval of beer connoisseurs worldwide, Belgian beer café NoMad will maintain highest standards with respect to the proper pouring rituals, as made famous by the experts form Stella Artois, and the proper glassware, each brew being served in a specific glass tha best promotes the flavor and notes of the beer. The inhouse beer sommelier has also curated a beer pairing suggestion that will enhance almost each and every dish on the menu. Furthermore, bottled beers will be offered at three different temperatures: cellar, chambrée (counter) and chilled, to further heighten the experience.
Diners can begin by nibbling on an assortment of Hoppetizers between sips of beer, with options including Salmon Bacon Quiche, Steak Tartare, Witloof Salad, Duck Breast and Mussuls served with hand-cut Belgian Frites.
